Vaclav Svoboda's motorcycles or "Freedom on two wheels" Print E-mail
Reopening of the exhibition in a new coat Vaclav Svoboda fell for two wheelers already in his youth, being charmed by the "freedom on two wheels". However, he actively began collecting motorcycles just recently. The core of his collection is made up of a large number of road racing motorcycles mostly czech ones, but also foreign produce. The collection also includes road motorcycles and representatives of  famous czech speedway history. The collection of motorcycles  was gradually renovated during years 1998-2009 and is still evolving.
Vaclas Svoboda is not only a collector, but also an active racer. In the racing of road historic motorcycles in 2001he took third place in the ME series and a year later, finished fourth. Today he is a participant of a domestic championship and Alpe Adria Cup. In 2004, he took the 9th place in the championship series CSR of Supermono motorcycles ,and the same place also in 2006 in the championship ČRS 125 SP. A year later he became the absolute winner of the circuit race of historic motorcycles in Dvur Kralove.
