The Technical Museum in Brno - The
Methodical Centre of Conservation organises conferences, courses,
workshops and also education for students of secondary schools
and universities in its laboratories and other premises belonging to
MCK. Currently, MCK lecturers and other employees lead a one-term
course called Conservation Practicum for first-year students of
Muse-ology at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University Brno (FF MU).
Students of chemistry- field
conservation and restoring at the Faculty of Science, Masaryk
University in Brno (PřF MU) take part in one-term lectures dealing
with conservation and restoring of metals as well as preventive
conservation.
Students interested in museum
conservation have an opportunity to perform their obligatory
practical lessons and course continuity at TMB- MCK
Students of SPŠ (Secondary Industrial
School) and VOŠ (Technical College) are advised by our employees
regarding their practical lessons.
Our lecturers, specialists and other
employees also perform the role of student advisors and counsellors
for their final thesis.
